What portable power station is DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 compatible with?

The DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 is compatible with both the DJI Power 1000 and DJI Power 2000 portable power stations.

When connecting to the Power 1000, ensure you plug the expansion battery cable into the SDC port. Do not use the SDC Lite port, as the expansion battery will not function properly when connected there.

What ports does DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 have? What are the functions of these ports?

The expansion battery has two SDC ports, arranged vertically.
The upper SDC port on the expansion battery must be connected to the SDC port of the power station or the lower SDC port of another expansion battery.
The lower SDC port on the expansion battery can be used to connect a Super Fast Charger or another expansion battery. However, the SDC port of the expansion battery cannot connect to the DJI Power Dongle, which must be connected to the power station.

Can I wirelessly monitor the status of a DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 via app?

Yes, by connecting DJI Power Dongle to the power station, you can use the DJI Home app to monitor the status of the expansion battery.

By pressing the power button once on the expansion battery, you can check its battery level on the screen.

Can it be used on its own?

No, it plugs into a DJI Power Station. It won’t work alone.

How much power does it add?

Each expansion battery adds 2048Wh. You can connect up to 10 of them to the DJI Power 2000, giving you a total of 22,528Wh. That’s enough juice to run tools, lights, and gear for days on big jobs or remote sites.

How do I connect it?

Just plug it into the expansion port on the DJI Power 1000 or 2000. That’s it.

Is it safe to take to worksites?

Absolutely. It’s rugged, shockproof, and made for jobsite use.

2. DJI Power 1000 and Power 1000 V2 each support connection with up to 5 expansion batteries, which provide up to 11264 Wh when fully charged. DJI Power 2000 supports connection with up to 10 expansion batteries, which provide up to 22528 Wh when fully charged.

3. At an ambient temperature of 25° C ( 77° F), when used with DJI Power 1000, it can stably output at a maximum continuous power of 2400 W until battery runs out. The maximum continuous output power is 2200 W when using only DJI Power 1000. When used with DJI Power 1000 V2, it can stably output at a maximum continuous power of 3000 W until battery runs out. The maximum continuous output power is 2600 W when using only DJI Power 1000 V2. Data was tested in a controlled laboratory environment.

4. When used with DJI Power 1000, it can support devices with power consumption not exceeding 2600 W. When used with DJI Power 1000 V2 or DJI Power 2000, it can support devices with power consumption not exceeding 3000 W.

5. AC recharging power may vary in different countries. This data is for reference only. Actual user experience may vary.

6. Measured at an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F) when connected to DJI Power 1000, recharged at 500 W, and with a 1000 W output power, the battery maintains over 80% capacity after 4000 cycles. This data is for reference only. Actual user experience may vary.
